Aurora City Schools Bond & Levy Information
This website shares information about the November 5th, 2024 Bond Issue #32 for the Aurora City School District provided by a committee made up of Aurora citizens.
Though the Aurora Schools' bond issue did not pass, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you for your tireless efforts and dedication to the bond issue campaign. Building a new high school and updating our schools to address aging infrastructure and capacity challenges is an important cause, and every one of you has worked hard to make sure our community understood its significance.
From organizing events, spreading the word, to the many hours spent in meetings and conversations, your commitment to Aurora’s students and families has been inspiring. While the outcome is not what we had hoped for, the Citizens Committee for Quality Schools is deeply grateful for everything you’ve done. We will take what we’ve learned from this experience and continue to work toward solutions that support the long-term needs of our schools and community.
Thank you again for your hard work and dedication. Aurora’s schools are stronger because of advocates like you!
With gratitude,
Rachel & Elissa
